Sometimes all it takes is one random turn, losing your way, or a small fortunate accident (aka serendipity). That was more or less how I ended up in a quiet street in Omotesando/Aoyama, hidden a few steps away from the busy area with countless luxury brand stores, and discovered Nicolai Bergmann.
I have heard about him before: a florist from Denmark, well known in Tokyo for his contemporary flower arrangements.
His family-run company “Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design” now has 7 boutiques in Japan and abroad, but the one in Omotesando is also HQ, a flower design school and a café all under the same roof.
Flower arrangements as well as café menu vary with the seasons and at the moment are in full swing for Christmas mood. Get yourself a cup of coffee (or tea), sit down, look around, listen to well selected jazzy Christmas tunes and enjoy. Pure pleasure for the soul!
I have to warn you: you are risking either having too much coffee or getting yourself something really nice, or both. Though who said that too much of a good thing should be bad! 😉
Very helpful and Great information,
we appreciate advise especially coming from a professional.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!
